For makers

Sell your work on WarPast

Bladesmiths, armorers, leatherworkers and other makers of historical reproductions: list your work beside the history it recreates. A seax you forged sits on the wiki page about the seax, in front of the readers who came to learn about it.

Orders open soon. Makers are setting up shop now: your storefront and listings go public as soon as they're approved, and buyers can order once checkout for makers opens.

How it works

  1. Apply. Tell us about your shop. We review every maker by hand.
  2. List your pieces. Photos, price, shipping, and stock on hand or made to order. Your first 3 listings get a quick review; after that they go live when you save them.
  3. Get your storefront. A page for your shop, and every piece also appears on its wiki entry and in the shop.
  4. Ship and get paid. When a piece sells you get the order and ship it to the buyer. Payouts go out monthly by bank transfer once you're owed $25 or more.

What it costs

No listing fees and no monthly fee. WarPast keeps a commission on each sale, and less on bigger pieces:

Under $1005%
$100 to $5004%
$500 to $2,0003%
Over $2,0002.5%
